A once-upon-a-time architect who had her own firm in New York City for ten years, Charlotte left architecture to pursue her long-time passion for writing. She wrote The Girl Pages: A Handbook of the Best Resources for Strong, Confident, Creative Girls (Hyperion) and launched GirlsCanDo.com. Charlotte grew up in Seattle and went to Barnard College in New York. She's an avid runner and tennis player, loves to rock climb, and will do anything that involves "making something". She and her husband and dog Otto live in New York City and Connecticut and are expecting their first child in July.
